so now we’ve started on our ensembles =]

i am in a group with jessICAAAA =D,,adrii SISTAAAA and tara =]

ehehe

i love my group..=] ehehhe well.. yeh we’ve got our ideas sorted but we just need to figure out a way to connect it all and make it flow..  that the reason why we changed almost our whole performance because it wasn’t working out and none of us were enjoying it or liking it in the end.. it was moving too slowly!!

but yeh.. hopefully this new plan works out well =]

ahhh welllll..

drama on tuesday was good..

cashy gave us our solo assessment sheets back..  i wish i had done better.. but then again it was my first solo.. so i cant be too hard on myself..

we had a long discussion on the Top Class performance we went to see and sorted through the dates of other performances we’re going to see… cashy ive decided that if i was to do a solo out of the ones at top class this year i would prbably have done Mary Mellon… =S if thats how u spell it..

but yeh..

1) top class..

THIS WAS THE BEST!!! it freaked me out a bit seeing all these young girls and guys doing these drama solos because they had soo much to them.. they looked like they had soo much effort and practice put into them and it scared me.. not in a bad way though ahahah

ok 2) solos…

everyones solos were REALLY GOOD!!! i had a good time with mine.. if i could go back i would change a couple of things, i would have spoken louder and slowed down the pace i spoke at..

3) ensembles

I CANT WAIT TO START WORKING ON ENSEMBLES AS A BIG CLASS omg!! how exciting ahaha

anyway…

omg! im so sorry i haven’t been blogging this holidays cashy.. :S i was on at work almost all the time and i was sick aswell.. with the flu..

but was writing my script in bed, and made a few changes to it.. no longer am i a new nerd student starting at a new school.. i am now a nerd student going for a normal day at school.. i like this story line better.. it is much easier to work with!

well today i went to merca’s house and we worked on our scripts together and helped each toher to act out our solos.. giving each other pointers as to what should stay and what should go and different ways to act out certain sections of the play.

it went well and my solo definately benefited from this partner work thank you my merca *ICA* lol

i’ve sorted out all the dramatic elements and where they will be fitting into my solo and what i can do to increase the effect of these elements..

well yes.. sorry about the lack of blogging again cashy..

wow on holidays at last!!!! yay!!! hopfullly everything with my drama solo stays together over the holidays..

going to have a day with adri and jess to rehearse and add more to our solos..! ((grrrr these nails make it so hard 2 type haha jst thought id say that :P))

well..i’ve realised that i am depending a lot on my script lately so i am goikng to take it a scene at a time and improvise until the improvising is stuck in my head and i can get it all down on paper as my script and movement on the stage.

still working on moving from one scene to another smoothly..(eg. from a morning class straight through to lunch time) but apart from thst everything is coming along pretty well

anyway.. ill keep at it

well hello again!!!

my script has had some changes in it since last lesson.. i performed my solo for jess and she gave me some tips as to what i should keep and what i should change because it was lacking something.. nd then she showed me hers and i gave her some advice

still trying to smooth the scene skipping thingy hahah so some of my scenes had to be changed to fit in with that.. i have been working on incoroparting some of the dramatic elements into my solo performance more now aswell.. because up until a little while ago i had forgotten all about them!!!! hahaha

hehehe wow! fridays class was AWESOMEEEEE!!!! =P i have never laughed so much in my whole life!! i hit cashy in the face with the ballll hahaha that’s a new ball!!! didnt the old one have a name?? does the new one have a name cashy?? haha

that was fun..! “realityyy” hahaha

anyway onto drama now.. some REAL drama

i have finished my whole script for now.. until i feel i need to add more in or take some out..i hope it fits into the time frame it needs to.. i also need to learn from cashy how i can skip my scenes.. haha because i have no idea!!! haha

well.. hopefully everything starts working out with the acting part of everything aswell, so far everything is going well! which is good.. so hopefully it stays that way

ok well drama lesson today was very good for me to get a better insight into my character as a nerd. we did some excercises where we shut our eyes to get a grasp on our character before we started acting it out..it definately helped me though because it made me realise that i was building my character around the voice and actions i was making ((thank you for the advice cashyyy hehe)) so now i can spend more time on just getting my script sorted and the acting and then just see what voice evolves from all of that.

it was good to start acting with everyone else around because it showed that we were the only ones who had no idea what we were doing and we weren’t the only ones who were completely confused with their storylines or their voices and expressions..etc.

all in all todays lesson helped with the production of my characterrrr!!!

OH MY GOD!! thank u so much cashy for letting us have the holidays to do our solo.. that is so much weight lifted off my shoulders.. i was stressing so much its not funny!!!!

now that, that’s done.. hehe drama sac went well i think… destin was a great show to write about..

haha drama class on friday was awesumm!!! had so much fun wit cashy’s story telling session in friday’s class.. haha “well if u noticed him staring at u for that long then u must have been staring too” hahhaah  cashy got WRECKEDDDD

well drama solo is coming along well.. i have my costume sorted.. just need to figure out the final touches and put my script to paper.. at the moment just improvising and seeing what i can make of my solo and just writing down as i go, planning on making my script as i go.

hmm kinda new 2 this so yeah im really confused and don’t know what i’m doing haha

well i’ll start by saying that drama this year so far has been awesomeee!!! we started off rehearsing and performing short drama skits of about 5 mins incorporating all the 12 dramatic elements as we went. i was a bimbooo hahahaha who hated work

now we are working on our solos.. we have to perform ONE chacracter only and interact with imaginary people around us. we had to chose a sub-culture in society (eg.band geek and hippy) i chose a NERD :P. went home after that lesson and researched on wikipedia about nerds and the way they act. we have 2 include 2 of the dramatic elements because 5 of the others are already seperate in the criteria.

on monday my yr 11 drama class and the yr 12’s went on an excursion to fairfield to watch a university drama play of Destin. a play about countess nosferatu who wants to change her ways and not kill the one thing she longs for more than anything else in this life…love. this was an excellent play…i would rate it an 8 out of 10

well i’m going to end this here..
